Fun Stocking Stuffer Ideas November 27 2014
If you weren’t already aware, Christmas is just around the corner so we hope you’re all fully prepared and have done all your festive shopping. But just in case you’re not quite there, we’ve come up with some great stocking stuffer ideas – so now’s the time to shop for clip earrings for your lady friend!
- Clip earrings
These would be the perfect addition to any Christmas stocking. Wrap them up well in some lovely paper with a little bow and really put a smile on that special someone’s face. Stockings are often filled with jokey presents and small things but throw someone a curve ball this year and give them something special to open before the real unwrapping begins.
- Chocolate money
Sadly, Cadbury’s announced earlier this year that it wouldn’t be making chocolate money any more (apparently they’re too fiddly to make - bah, humbug) so hurry up and stock up while you can. Christmas stockings just won’t be the same any more but at least you can wave the coins a fond farewell this year.
- Marzipan fruit
Another staple for yuletide stockings – it just wouldn’t be Christmas without a marzipan fruit or two. If you head out to the German markets in your local area, you might be able to find humungous versions for a fun new take on this traditional stocking stuffer.
- An orange
Ok, so we know most of these are food-related but Christmas is supposed to be a time of excess, isn’t it? Oranges have been a staple part of stockings for years and are said to represent St Nicholas giving out gold. Just make sure you put it in the toe of the stocking.
